DESCRIPTION:Calm Walk Skills Lab: Magic Mat Mastery\nCalmness isn’t something we demand. \nIt’s something we help our dogs learn. \nIn this small\, interactive online Skills Lab\, we’ll explore one of my favourite ways to help dogs develop the skill of switching off\, the Magic Mat. \n  \nAt first glance\, it might look like we’re teaching dogs to lie on a bed. But in reality\, the Magic Mat isn’t really about the mat. \nIt’s about helping our dogs discover what it feels like to pause\, recover and return to the world feeling emotionally steady. \nTogether\, we’ll explore: \n🐾 Why calmness is a skill\, not a command \n🐾 Building value for the mat \n🐾 Why getting up isn’t failure \n🐾 Becoming a Dog Detective and reading body language \n🐾 Helping dogs learn to pause and recover \n🐾 Bringing calmness into everyday life\, cafés\, holidays and adventures \nWhether you’re completely new to mat work or simply want to deepen your understanding\, this session is designed to be relaxed\, practical and supportive. \nPlaces are limited to just six teams\, allowing plenty of opportunities for questions and individual guidance. \nBecause the Magic Mat isn’t really about the mat. \nIt’s about helping our dogs discover the joy of doing less. \n📍 Where: Online from the comfort of your own home (Zoom) \n📅 When: 27th June \n🐾 Who is it for?
