DESCRIPTION:Calm Skills Lab: Mighty Manners\nGood manners aren’t about constantly telling our dogs what to do. \nThey’re about helping them develop the ability to pause\, think and make calm choices. \nIn this small\, interactive online Skills Lab\, we’ll explore one of the most valuable life skills we can teach our dogs – learning that calmness creates opportunities. \nAt first glance\, it might look like we’re simply teaching dogs to wait. \nBut in reality\, Mighty Manners is about much more than waiting. \nIt’s about helping our dogs discover what it feels like to pause\, gather their thoughts and wait for the information they need before moving into action. \nTogether\, we’ll explore: \n🐾 Why calmness is a skill\, not a command \n🐾 Building thoughtful release cues \n🐾 Helping your dog pause before making choices \n🐾 Growing patience and emotional regulation through games \n🐾 Becoming a Dog Detective and understanding body language \n🐾 Taking these skills into everyday life\, from doorways and greetings to walks and adventures \nWhether you’re raising a puppy\, living with an enthusiastic adolescent or simply want to develop calmer everyday manners\, this session is designed to be relaxed\, practical and supportive. \nBecause Mighty Manners isn’t really about manners. \nIt’s about helping our dogs discover the confidence to pause before they act. \n📍 Where: Online from the comfort of your own home (Zoom) \n📅 When: July 28th \n🕙 Time: 10:30am \n🐾 Who is it for?
