DESCRIPTION:Calm Walk Skills Lab: Growing the Brain\nWhat happens when your dog really wants something… but they don’t yet know whether they’re going to get it? \nThis Skills Lab is all about helping our dogs develop the capacity to pause\, think and stay mentally available when something exciting is right there in front of them. \nWe’ll build the session in layers\, learning each little step before putting everything together — a bit like learning the steps of a dance. \nUsing food\, toys and things your dog enjoys\, we’ll explore what happens when sometimes they’re released to get what they want… and sometimes we ask them to move away with us instead. \nThe goal isn’t simply to teach your dog to wait or leave something alone.
